2012 Baseball/Softball Pics #1

I know...I've horrible on keeping this blog up to date, and we've been so busy that makes it even harder. Now, I have a lot of catching up to do, so I'm doing it this way. I'll be doing entries with some random pics from the baseball/softball season so far, and separate ones on all of the other fun stuff we do. The baseball/softball season is going great, with all the kids doing very well and having lots of fun!

Brian's New Bike!!!

I was finally able to get Brian a 'big boy' bike, and one that he loves. He definately deserves it, and is riding great. I'll probably be able to take the training wheels off next summer at the rate he's going. We've already rode our bikes down town and does fine. Trevor even let him win a race or two.

The 2012 Baseball Trip

Last month we concluded our baseball trip for 2012. We headed across Canada, and started our trip with two games in Syracuse, watching the Chiefs take on the Rochester Red Wings. We then went to Rochester ourselves to see the Empire State Yankees take on the Durham Bulls. Our next stop was Cooperstown, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. That was fun, but not as great as we expected. We watched two games in Binghamton, watching the Mets take on the Trenton Thunder both nights. We then headed north back up to Rochester, to watch the Red Wings face the Louisville Bats. We headed to Buffalo the next day, to first watch the Univ. at Buffalo Bulls vs. Bowling Green State, and the Buffalo Bisons and Gwinnett Braves. This was the first time I've been in Buffalo since 1993, while working with the U.S. Customs Explorers at the World University Games. It was a long trip back to Michigan, and we watched Central Michigan take on and defeat arch rival Western. Lisa brought the kids down, and they joined us for our final game in West Michigan. So happy to be with the kids again! Much more on these games and more pics at Minoring In Baseball:
