'Rasslin' in the Soo

Pro wrestling finally came back to Soo, Michigan, and I had to take the kids. They've been bugging me for more wrestling since we went a couple of years ago. This show was a combination of some of the older guys I watched when I was younger, some guys from the 'Attitude Era' of the WWF, and some of the indy wrestlers. We saw Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan, Demoliton, Powers of Pain, Billy Gunn, Rikishi, and Scotty 2 Hotty. We were in the front row, and the kids were very much into it, especially Lily, who was in the face of these guys all night long. I hope we get more wrestling here soon.

Football Ceremony

Still trying to play catch-up, but with my phone fried, lots of pics got lost, too. I pulled these off of my Twitter. Just of couple of photos of Trevor's football banquet. We all enjoyed pizza and cake, and Trevor received a certificate for his efforts this season. He really thought he was going to win the 'most improved player' award, and was a little disappointed that he didn't. He had a great season, though, and we are all very proud of him!!!

Hockey Season Starts

Well, I'm still way behind on this blog. One of the biggest reasons is that I'm having so much trouble getting pics off my phone. So, if that ever happens, I'll just have to play 'catch up' with those. Anyway, last month started the new hockey season for the Lakers. With this new stupid work schedule, we've only been able to make it to a couple of games any, so here's the pics from those. The Lakers beat Ryerson (Canada) in an exhibition, then beat Michigan Tech. I think we'll be able to make it to one more game this year, and one in the second half.

Homecoming

Being on the Sault Giants Football team, Trevor was in the Homecoming Parade. He had fun and we all went to the game that night, which the Blue Devils won. A good time was had by all! Earlier in the week, Papa came up to watch Trevor's game and celebrate another victory! The weather was cold, but nothing can stop us from watching these kids!

Chips and Sparty

Back in August, Trevor went downstate and went to the Central Michigan vs. Michigan State football game in Mount Pleasant with his Papa and cousin Shelby. They all had a fun time, and Trevor and Shelby were happy that MSU got the upper-hand on Papa's Chippewas (this time..). The important thing is that they got to spend some time together and that is was a beautiful day. Trevor took all of the pics, except the ones he was in!
