Lakers Get Bit

Over the weekend we were finally able to make it to a Laker game. LSSU hosted the Ferris State Bulldogs. It was just Bri-guy and I, as Lily and Trevor had other plans. It was a rough night for Lake State, as the 'Dogs won, but we still had a fun time. The Lakers will get them next time.

Basketball Starts For Trevor

The Lincoln Falcons took the first step toward returning to the city championship game this week, with practice starting up. Trevor is healthy and ready to go, and is doing well so far. There seems to be more kids out for the team this year, too, so we're all pretty optimistic. Go Falcons!

Cadillac Trip

For Thanksgiving we took our trip down to Cadillac to visit Papa and Nana. While, there, we took in a Cadillac Vikings hockey game. We had a good time despite a Viking loss. I still wish they would honor us that played back in the Cadillac Comet days that blazed a trail for the high school team.

Gemini

Lily's last show was a concert with the Gemini group, a pair of brothers who sings songs for kids. Lily had a lot of fun and had a fun time up on stage. The concert was at the LSSU Fine Arts Center. We got her a CD and an autographed poster of the group. Her next show is the first of next month.

More Baseball/Softball With The Lakers

Last weekend the kids went back to the college for more of a baseball and softball clinic. They also got some pizza and played some games. All three kids participated this time, and daddy got a little break. I still spent most of my time there, though, taking some pics of them in training.

Lakers Route Laurentian

The Lakers gave us a mid-week treat, with a Tuesday game against Laurentian University. It was a fun game, as they won 9-2. I'm glad that all three kids were able to come with me, too. It was a fun night for us as a family.

Fun Free Clinic

Over the weekend Brian participated in the fun free softball/baseball clinic. He was a little shy of the girls at first, but did fine once the baseball drills started. They also played some games, and it gave him a chance to run around and get some energy out. Lily was signed up, but changed her mind at the last minute. There's another clinic next weekend that all three kids will be going to. There will be drills, games, and pizza for them to enjoy.

Lily In Performing Arts

My beautiful daughter Lily is participating in Performing Arts class in school. Her first concert was this week, and she did a great job. I'm glad she is comfortable being in front of people. All the kids did a great job, and the whole show was a lot of fun. She has another one next week.
